We added some curtains to the girl's
plastic outdoor play house last week.
It adds a bit of coziness and has
been fun for playing new games.
So easy,
anyone can do it.
I just put a tension rod up across the
window opening,
(the same kind I use for impromptu puppet shows!)
Added a few leftover clip-style curtain rings
from my kitchen junk drawer
(you know we all have one!)
Clipped on some dish towels...
and
Viola, easy home-made,
no-sew curtains.
Peek-a-boo!!

Cute!!! I changed out my cushions for an outside bench. I took the old ones and put them inside the girls' fort on top of their swingset. I was thinking it would be a great place to read....
Love this! Is your house outside? I imagine here they might get pretty mildewy... might have to attempt it just the same!
CUTENESS!!!
As always...
Our House IS outside on our deck. I moved it closer to the main house this year so it I can let the girls play in it while I fix lunch or dinner. It's next to our sliding doors and the curtains are under our awning so they haven't gotten wet yet. If they get grungy or mildewy I'll just toss them in the washing machine. That's the great thing about using dish towels and clip rings - they're easy to take off and swap out or clean!!
Okay you seriously must be the most fun mom ever!
Fantastic idea! Every playhouse needs some curtains.
Dishtowels for curtains = brilliant!!
Cute, cute, cute!
