The Frog Princess made this cool
Mosaic Brick Doorstop
at art camp.
They smashed old pottery
in brown bags with hammers.
Then I think they used
thin-set tile mortar
to adhere the broken pottery
and buttons to a brick.
I wish they used a bit more mortar
to cover the sharp/jagged edges.
But I will admit,
it's super artsy
and I really like it.

*grumbles about lack of art camp in childhood*
Your family is the second I have heard of sending the wee one to art camp! I am so jealous! I want to go to art camp! I shall need to harass my parents as to why I was never sent to art camp :)

Love the door stop (and the idea of art camp!). Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my blog otherwise I'm afraid that I might not have found yours (and that would have been a shame)!
