I've been tending to a sick kid all week.
She's SO MUCH better...but it has been a LONG 8 days.
Waiting at the doctor's office.
Making-up homework.
Refereeing sibling "disagreements"screaming matches.
Trying not to go insane.
Craving my art studio. Craving "me time."
Waiting for a return to the old routine.
Grateful it hasn't been worse
(and I know it could be/could have been so much worse)
Reflecting on Halloween(s) past and present.

What great pictures from Halloween past and present! I look forward to seeing this year's costumes.
I'm glad to know that your daughter is feeling better. It would be so sad if being sick ruined tomorrow night. Hope everyone has a great time Trick-or-Treating.
I am so glad you guys are feeling better. These pictures are so great. The family "portrait" is adorable. Love the swine flu pumpkin. Cute!
HAHA! The swine flu pumpkin! CUTE! :)
Oh! I'm so glad you told the jack-o-lantern paper story! I'm trying to learn some new ones... kids love hearing oral stories, especially when there's a surprise ending!
I love the puking pumpkin! Great idea! Hope everything is back to normal soon!
I love all your photos! Isn't Halloween fun? We're carving pumpkins tonight... that puking pumpkin looks tempting (thanks for the plastic wrap hint!)
Hilarious! Swine Flu pumpkin! That is fantastic! I also love Frog princess's face in the first puking pumpkin picture:)
You were a beautiful Mommyrella :)
I nearly spat out all my tea at that Swine Flu Pumpkin. Priceless!
LOL - your swine flu pumpkin is fantastic!! There's been such a panic around here lately (we had to wait in a line-up for 5 hours on Thursday), that people would have gotten a real kick out of seeing that pumpkin!
You are so artistic. I can't even draw a bat on paper...and you're painting them free-hand on a pumpkin! LOL
And I have to say, the swine flu pumpking cracked me up. :)
Hope you had a wonderful Samhain!
