If you're
on our Valentine list,
just humor me
and act surprised
when you get one of these
in the mail.
I raided our felt and fabric scraps, the "cool paper scraps box"
(yes, that's what the label on the box says)
and some of the girl's doodles and drawings from the past week.
Then we cut out some hearts....
and I stitched them to some blank white
cardstock cards with my sewing machine.
Sew easy.
and sew cute!
Hubby is getting this one, the map is from one of our
first trips together... I wrote, "I'd be lost without you" inside.
Happy Card-making!

I just love it, but I think I say that about all your crafts. I think stitching on paper is so pretty and I love what the map heart says.

These are absolutely lovely. I would be thrilled to receive on in the mail, even if I had a sneak preview. And, your message to your hubby is charming. Thank you for sharing your terrific ideas.
What a great way to use scraps - we always have plenty of those! :D
So sweet. What a treat to receive on Valentine's Day. I really like that you have included your children's drawings and part of a map on your hubby's card - this makes them that much more special and a keepsake that the recipients will treasure.
So cool!
LOVE IT!

Just tried these last night! So much fun! They look adorable and I'm sure will be an appreciated change from the store bought cards I usually send. I even got a wild hair and stitched a bunch of hearts along a length of ribbon and then stitched that to the inside of one of my cards so that when its opened, it falls out like the tail of a kite.
