Homemade Gift: Mother's Day Ideas

In my book,
a home made gift
from the heart
is always the best kind.

Today, I'll re-cap some of my
favorite homemade gift ideas
(from past posts)
in case you need some
inspiration for Mother's Day
(this weekend!)
or Teacher Appreciation Week
(this week -- at least it is here!)

You could always make a sewn heart card
to share your heartfelt message.

First up would be a set of

for her purse?

What about an easy sewing project?
with grandchildren's prints
(or student's prints)

For that special gardener in your life!

to spruce up a garden pathway....

to keep track of those reading glasses
(also great for an ID badge for work!)

A glitter glue treasure box
makes a homemade gift
a bit more personal!

A felt needle keeping book
for your crafty mamas.

A colorful scrappy book mark
for book worm mamas!

Happy Crafty Gifting!

Your crafty ideas rock! How neat to get such sweet personal gifts to remind moms and teachers of their little ones (they grow up so fast, don't they!) Thanks for sharing those ideas!

Ah, I love your mother's day gifts. Homemade is the best. Just wish my mom was still here so I could show her your blog.
Happy Mom's Day to you!

I did the hand print sampler with my mother in law for Christmas and she loved it. I might do it for my mom this year...it's such an easy, fast project.

We made a couple of the beaded eyeglasses chains today for my mom who has been looking and looking for some that wouldn't fall apart. I love that idea. It was just perfect for her.

I can't wait to try the cement paving stones. Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
