I brought a huge box full of art supplies
with us to the beach.
(what was in the box you ask...
tissue paper recycled from gift bags, clear contact paper,
pipe cleaners, watercolors, sharpies, blank watercolor post cards,
food coloring, kool aid packets, rainbow yarn,
construction paper, white school glue, crayola twistables,
pencil sharpener colored pencils, scissors, plaster of paris,
I didn't know what kind of weather we'd get and if it was rainy,
I wanted ways to fill our afternoons
without just watching television.
Both of my girls loved this activity...
Simple tissue paper and clear contact paper collages.
The girls spent an hour making little scenes, book marks, and stained glass.
Snip, snip, snip.
Stick, stick, stick.
Peaceful crafting by the sea... priceless.
Fondly,
