We have been going through the 50 States of America this summer; puzzles, mini books, state birds and flowers, fun books, videos, songs, flags, just plain old Americana. My 4 1/2yo can sing "the Star-Spangled Banner" and many other patriotic songs. It has definitely been an adventure! Thanks for the offer...love your blog!!!!

What a great idea MaryLea! I tried the linky site, but I couldn't get anything to load. Here's one of our Summer projects... We got a bunch of books from the library and visited our closest salt water tank. We then drew our favorite SeA CrEaTuReS and then made hanging mobiles.

Here's our Link: http://candiceashmentart.blogspot.com/search/label/sea%20creatures

How creative your site is! thanks - Candice

I love getting new ideas for my kiddos from your blog. I work with special needs kiddos and so many of your art ideas are fun process rather than product oriented that are great for them.

Loved all our summer themes! It's enough to keep us going through the school year too! I posted something we did from earlier this summer to fit better with your space theme. I hope you don't mind.
