Pink and Green Mama's Gratitude Giveaway #1: November Kids Craft Club Kit!

I Love Fall.
October and November are my two favorite months of the year.
The leaves are gorgeous here in Virginia.
The air is crisp and cool so I get to wear my favorite boots and jeans again.
Football, pumpkin pie, apple cider, and a lot fewer bugs makes it just about perfect.
Throw in Halloween, my Birthday, and Thanksgiving
and they're the sprinkles on top!
I get extra crafty in the fall, so get ready for lots of fun new projects!

To celebrate my thankfulness for our fall bounty
and all of you lovely readers,
I'm doing a series of giveaways this month
to say "thank you."

Here is my first Pink and Green Mama's Gratitude Giveaway,
a free three-month craft kit giveaway from my awesome friends at
You will be entered to win three months of their Kid's Craft Club Kits
(November, December, and January)

They sent us their November Craft Kit
and the girls and I had all kinds of crafty fun playing with it!

Each kit comes with supplies to make simple, kid friendly craft projects
and an "idea" booklet to get you started in the right direction.
Because we are out of the box crafters,
the girls wanted to do their own thing with the kit so I let them.
Here's what we came up with!

These skinny strips of orange and yellow paper were meant for another project
but "E" decided she wanted to make a paper playground sculpture
so she got busy folding, taping, and cutting and here's what she came up with.

She also incorporated these cute pre-cut paper leaf shapes.

I think it's pretty cool!

I used a couple to fold this piece of Paper Indian Corn.

They also sent these AWESOME two-sided nature picture
punch-out shape pages to use for collages, etc.
We laminated ours to cut out and use with our light table
for infinite scene building and leaf-man shape making!

Hello, awesome Light Table Manipulatives!

"C" loved the punch-out Nature Paper shapes.
So, I copied them on our scanner and we cut out a bunch
to use for a Fall Gratitude Wreath.

I cut this piece of pizza cardboard into a wreath shape and let her get to work.

First she cut out the nature feather and leaf shapes.

Then, she glued them down with some leaves picked up from our own yard.

Close up of the paper and "real" leaves.

"C" and "E" wrote down things our family is grateful for
on these cute pre-cut paper leaf shapes.

Our list included: Cats, Fall, Football, Leaves, Family,
Barbies, Food, No Wars Here, and that we are Healthy and Safe.

Then, we used the included Raffia from the craft kid
to tie to our wreath and taped the leaves onto the ends.

They also sent this fun Christmas Card making kit,
the girls can't wait to get started on it.
I know what some neighborhood friends and grandmas will be getting
in their mail boxes soon!

They're giving one of my readers three of their craft kits!
For a chance to win your own three months of
Kid's Craft Club Kits,
please leave a comment on this post.

A name will be drawn by random number generator
Monday, November 7th.
(Must be 18 or older to leave a comment.)
This giveaway is closed.

Fondly,
Pink and Green Mama,

I know my kids would love to win, and if we won you can bet that one would do her own thing and invent a project while the other would carefully look through the book, start a suggested craft and then take it in her own direction. Thanks for the reminder that that's a Good thing.
