* Giveaway: Playful Learning Spaces E-Course with Mariah Bruehl

(Our block corner)

My wonderfully talented (and organized!) bloggy friend,
Mariah Bruehl is offering a space for me and one of my readers to join her
I am so excited about this upcoming winter session (it starts Wednesday, January 18th)
and can't wait to learn how to best develop spaces around our house
for my own two daughters to learn in a creative and organized environment.
We have been on a major cleaning and organizing purge around here
since Christmas and it makes me so happy every time I open a cleaned out drawer,
or pull my car into my garage for the first time since we've lived here for 4 + years!
Now, I'm excited to turn my attention to examining the spaces my girls use to fit
their current needs and activities.

Here's a wonderful little visual treat/sneak peek. : )

Click on this LINK to learn more about the six-week
Playful Learning Spaces E-Course.

Dates: 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22.
Playful Learning Spaces is a six-week online course designed to help
parents and teachers through the process of designing thoughtful spaces for children.

We will work on creating areas that invite children to engage in reading,
writing, science, art, and more. The class will also discuss organization, storage,
and selecting materials for different ages and stages of child development.

Each week participants will receive a video that contains
basic educational principles, simple guidelines, and helpful photos.
There will be weekly assignments and links to relevant research, products, and inspiration.
Participants will act as a supportive community
with the opportunity to look at the spaces each creates for their children.
During the course, we will tackle overdue projects, post before and after photos,
and receive practical feedback and support. (um, yes please!)

I can't wait to get started with Mariah.
I love her blog, I have her book on my bedside table, and can't wait
to get even more great ideas and support from her on this adventure.
I hope you will join me and am so appreciative of her sharing
this opportunity with me and one of you!

This would be great and well timed! We are currently replacing the flooring in our basement and then it will be organized into a special space for my 2 year old daughter and me to work together!

Thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas. I would love the opportunity to participate in this e-course. My realm of organization extends to throwing things in baskets and calling it a day. My kids and husband are starting to get overwhelmed with the "organized chaos."

Wow! This would be the most helpful thing for me. I want so much for our creative learning time to be fun and productive but sometimes I get lost in the chaos. This is a great contest and I would love the opportunity!!!

I would love this opportunity. Even if I don't win...I think I'll sign up for the course. I am constantly organizing and making room. I am an art teacher mom too and sometimes my "creative" side over powers my "organized" side!

Thanks for this chance to enter a giveaway for someone who doesn't live in the US. Giveaways are often addressed only to US residents (something which I understand, especially if it involves sending a parcel).

I love the sound of this e-course. I am the mother of two girls who attend a local Montessori school. I am also a three year old preschool teacher. I am constantly working to make my classroom and home spaces more warm and inviting. I can't wait to read Mariah's book to learn more.

What a fantastic course. I know I need help in this area. My kids have so much stuff around. I've been whittling it down to the really important stuff, but it's still not organized in a way that makes it really useful. They are so creative, but only when the environment is conducive to creativity. Thanks for the chance to win. I'm sure this would be life changing.
