Head Back To School With DIY Personalized School Supplies and Gear!

FALL and Back to School -- It's my favorite time of the year! 
The stores are full of new school supplies and it's time for kids to head back to the classroom.
I love new office supplies and this always feels like the start of a fresh, new year
to me (not that silly holiday called "New Year's Eve"!)

I love adding a personalized touch to store-bought goodies
and wanted to share a round up of some of our favorite projects from the past
to get those creative juices flowing and give you and your kids some 
ideas for new ways to add a personalized twist to your back-to-school supplies and gear!

Wrap pencils or pens with a bit of washi tape to add some color
 and stand out from the crowd!

Makeover boring school supplies.
Give folders, notebooks, glue bottles, and even glue sticks a makeover 
with Washi tape in cute patterns and colors!

Add some store-bought or custom DIY Stickers to a boring composition notebook.
It's not so boring anymore!

Makeover a boring/plain metal lunch box from the craft store with 
Sharpies (permanent markers) or Washi Tape! 

Make your own Shrinky Dink key chains to embellish backpacks and jacket zipper-pulls. 

Customize your Sneakers with your favorite colors using Sharpies!
